Italian is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and in translation circles is often referred to as one of the “big 5″ languages, along with English, French, Spanish, and German. There are a great many agencies and translators offering Italian. However, it is important to work with an agency, such as TranslateMedia, that has a track record of working with the best Italian translators and consistently producing high quality translations.
Although many of our Italian linguists are located in Italy we also have a large number of mother tongue Italian translators and interpreters dispersed all around the world. Our global Project Management presence and dispersed teams of Italian translators means that we can offer you real advantages where you have tight turnaround requirements.

Cinzia I am a highly qualified native Italian with a proficient level of English and excellent translation skills. I have 8 years’ experience of translation and I am a resident of Abu Dhabi since September 2008, having relocated from London where I lived and worked for over 10 years. I am a Member of the Institute of Linguists (MCIL) and I am the official Translator and Interpreter of the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I worked for 2 years in a Travel Company in London and for 6 years as a Sales Executive and Italian Translator & Interpreter for a Research & Fund Management company in Croydon, England, before switching to a full time career as a freelance translator in August 2006. Consequently, my knowledge and vocabulary of the tourism, financial, legal, investments and marketing environments is extensive and this assists my translating technical documents with ease and accuracy. You will also see that I have a degree in Italian and Humanities, therefore my ability to translate documents extends to the non-technical fields (arts, literature and entertainment) as well as to proofreading, localisation and ad hoc translation skills. Amongst my various translation activities, I am responsible for the Italian translation of the ongoing updates of the United Arab Emirates official website (www.uaeinteract.com/italian) and I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for several engineering & architects firms in London and around England, as well as in Abu Dhabi. I have very good experience in web interfaces and taxonomy projects translation, transcripts and subtitling and also in meetings, conference calls, local authorities, simultaneous (for major TV, media & advertising productions) and over the phone interpreting.
