Chinese New Year 2015

The Chinese New Year celebrations in 2015 will begin on Thursday 19th February and last until the Thursday 5th March. 2015 is a year of the “Goat” according to the Chinese animal zodiac cycle.

Most people in China will be off work from Wednesday 18th February, which is the equivalent of New Year’s Eve in the West, until Tuesday 24th of February.

As a consequence, some of our Chinese linguists will be taking some time off and any projects involving Chinese may require a longer deadline than usual.

If you are aware of any projects that will require Chinese translation, we recommend getting in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can start liaising with our linguists and assess their availability and capacity over the holiday period.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact your Project Manager or get in touch with our Client Services Manager, Victor Garcia, on victor.garcia@translatemedia.com.
