TranslateMedia is celebrating after being named one of the most improved businesses of the year at the European Regional Development Fund Awards (ERDF), held on the 14th November in London.
The ERDF supports regional development through actions such as business innovation, business support and regeneration – the ERDF has previously supported companies and projects including Enabled 4 Growth, Ecovenue and Investing for Success.
The European Regional Development Fund Awards, running alongside the European Social Fund (ESF) Awards, showcase the talents, skills and employment-related achievements of individuals and businesses benefiting from ESF and ERDF across London.
This recognition is in line with TranslateMedia’s recent slew of awards and demonstrates the company’s development in its commitment to providing expert language services.
Key improvements cited during the ERDF Awards judging process highlight great strides that the company has made towards improving the translation processes and technology that it employs. The continuing efforts of TranslateMedia to improve its use of technologies such as translation memory have boosted the company’s ability to provide quality translations at the lowest possible price, a strategy that has led to swarms of returning customers.
The panel of judges also mentioned the company’s dedication to maintaining a secure and streamlined process for dealing with their incoming translation projects. It was deemed that development in this area has led to considerable improvements in its ability to effectively manage a greater number of projects.
Managing director Patrick Eve and the whole company extend their thanks to the organisers, GLE, UKTI and everyone else involved.
